Day 1 / City Tour & Ala Archa National Park
After arriving in Bishkek and settling into the hotel, guests will visit Ala-Archa National Park, a picturesque area just outside the city. The park offers forested mountain trails, alpine rivers, and views of glaciers and peaks. We will also walk through the main streets of the capital to see how Soviet architecture is blended in the lives of the living in the city. Dinner at a traditional restaurant completes the day.
Day 2 / Bokonbaev Village, Issyk-Kul
The day begins with a visit to the historic Burana Tower, a minaret of the 11th-century city. After lunch by Lake Issyk-Kul, guests explore the colorful, winding landscapes of the Aksay Canyons. In the evening, they’ll attend a live demonstration of eagle hunting, one of Kyrgyzstan’s oldest nomadic traditions. Overnight in Bokonbaevo.
Day 3 / Seven Bulls & Fairytale Canyon
Travel along the lake’s southern shore, stopping at Skazka (Fairy Tale) Canyon with its red, Martian-like formations. Continue to the journey with a visit to the iconic red cliffs of Jeti-Ögüz, known as the “Seven Bulls.” We will drive to a panoramic view for a photoshoots. We will drive to Karakol city and visit Dunghan mosque and Russian orthodox church.
Day 4 / Altyn Arashan Valley
Drive to the stunning Altyn Arashan Valley combined with a light walk. Here, the guest will switch to Soviet truck to get to the valley.
This alpine region is known for its mountain views and wild landscapes. After lunch and a scenic horseback ride, guests can relax in natural hot springs before spending the night in a guesthouse in the valley.
Day 5 /North of Issyk Kul Lake
Enjoy slow morning in Altyn Arashan and get ready for the next location. Drive along the scenic north shore of Lake Issyk-Kul and check into a lakeside resort. Enjoy a relaxing afternoon at the sandy beach, with opportunities to swim and enjoy lake and mountain views. Perfect time to relax and enjoy the beach after long rides.
Day 6 / Song Kul Lake
Head toward Song-Kul Lake, a high-mountain lake surrounded by pastures used by nomadic herders. Stop for a picnic lunch at a mountain pass before settling into a traditional yurt camp. Song Kul is known for its serenity with no network & mobile service whatsoever. Great place to disconnect from the hectic world we are lining in.
In the evening, enjoy a campfire under the stars, learning about local traditions and life in the mountains.
Day 7 / Naryn Region
Start the day with a light horseback ride along the lake. Then travel through remote landscapes on the way to Naryn region, an important hub along the ancient Silk Road. The scenery of the mountain roads might stop of us to take some great photo shots. After lunch, explore the town and rest before the next day’s journey.
Day 8 / Kel Suu alpine lake
Travel to one of the most spectacular destinations in Kyrgyzstan — Kel-Suu Lake, located in a secluded alpine valley 3300 m. above sea level. After arriving and settling into yurts, guests enjoy a horseback ride with movie-like scenery or a drive by truck to the lake, boating on the lake, and a picnic by the shore. The evening is spent at the yurt camp surrounded by mountains.
Day 9 /Chong kemin Park
Depart Kel-Suu and travel through scenic valleys back north. After lunch in Naryn, continue to Chon-Kemin National Park, known for its wildlife, forests, expansive mountain views and quite a true kyrgyz lifestyle of the locals. Evening at a guesthouse in the park area.
Day 10 / Back to bishkek
The final day begins with a hands-on yurt-building workshop, offering a cultural deep-dive into nomadic life. Afterward, guests return to Bishkek, with a stop for lunch. In the capital, there’s time for souvenir shopping, followed by a festive farewell dinner celebrating Kyrgyz cuisine and hospitality.
